Good afternoon.  I hope that this email finds you and your families well.

We had our 2nd Trimester Silver Hawk Award Assembly last week and I would have to say it was one of our better ones.  The students were a great audience and the staff put together a program that was special. Our newest members of Silver Hawk recipients were Olivia Albert, Dominic Soucy, Lamija Pintol, Harry Jenkins, Lydia Stefan, Carter Forest, Taryn Wernig, and Jesse Powers.

I have attached to this email, the latest newsletter from the Gilford Parks and Rec Department.

Please follow this link to order your child the 2018-2019 GMS Yearbook.

I hope that you will be able to come and see the GMS Theatre Department’s production of “Frozen, Jr.”  We are pretty certain that our production of this musical is the first in New England! Show times are at 7:00 Thursday through Saturday nights and a 2:00 matinee on Saturday.  They have been hard at work both on stage and behind the scenes (making them, too!) so I hope you can join us!

We have our  monthly District Policy Meeting this Tuesday at the high school at 7:30am and an Early Release this Wednesday; students will be dismissed at 12:20.

Our 7th Graders are heading to Boston for their trip to the Museum of Science on Tuesday.  The 7th Grade team recommends bringing $10 to purchase lunch. They should be back in Gilford by 5:30.

Tomorrow’s Baseball and Softball games have been cancelled but the Track Meet at Winnisquam is still on.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
