Good afternoon.  I hope that this email find you and your families well.

When coming to parent conferences tonight and/or tomorrow, please check the lost and found items displayed on the first floor near the grand staircase.  There are many pieces of clothing as well as footwear, lunch boxes, water bottles and so forth. Any of these items left over after the long weekend will be donated.  Also, there are several pieces of jewelry as well as a pair of glasses in the main office that we’d like to get back to their rightful owners.

If you’re hungry after tonight’s conferences, head on over to Fratello’s and help support the Class of 2019.  Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Our major LEGO/Robotics event is only a week away and we are in dire need of volunteers.  Please click here to sign up!

Congratulations to Jesse Powers on successfully getting into the Middle Level Honors Festival this year with his mallet audition!  The festival will take place in Salem, New Hampshire on Friday, March 15. Way to go, Jesse!!

For parents of kids of all ages, the PTA is sponsoring a presentation by Shen Curley, Family Nurse Practitioner student at Rivier University.  She is conducting a Health Promotion Project to address insecurity and low self esteem in adolescents. You will learn how to help your adolescent who may be struggling in building their self-confidence.  This will take place at the GES library on Tuesday, November 13 at 3:30.

Many of our students in all grade levels will be taking part in the 2018 Holiday Cards 4 Our Military-NH Challenge. The Holiday Cards challenge is an effort to collect thousands of greeting cards for military service members. Last year, nearly 17,000 cards were collected for Navy sailors here in the state; this year, organizers will be expanding the program to all five branches of military service. Students only need to sign their first name and include their city and state to their cards. The challenge is open to everyone, not just students.  We will be collected the cards the Tuesday before we leave for Thanksgiving Break.

Thank you and have a nice weekend.

Peter
