  • 03/23/17 Good afternoon.  I just came from a “concert” down in our Band Room where Paul Warnick’s Unified Arts class, Rock Band, put on their final performance.  As always, they were impressive; it is amazing how quickly Mr. Warnick can get them to form a band.  And they warmed my heart by playing tunes by the Beatles and the Stones!From our school nurse, Beth Haddock:  Four batches of EpiPens have been recalled due to failure to activate.  All EpiPens kept in the Health Office have been checked and are unaffected.  Please check any that you may have at home for yourself or family members to ensure that they are still good to use.  Follow this link for more information ...

  • 03/10/2017 Good afternoon.  We had another successful Winter Carnival today up at Gunstock and over at the Merrill Fay Ice Arena.  The kids were in great spirit and should sleep well tonight!Interested in having your child participate in a spring sport?  I have attached 3 attachments one each for Lakes Region Tennis Association, Cal Ripken Baseball and Lakes Region Lacrosse.  There is also a Gilford Youth Softball Clinic on March 12, 19, 26 and April 2 (ages 3 ½ to 7 from 11:30-12:30 and ages 8-13 from 10:00-11:30) here at Gilford.  There will also be a spring sports meeting for parents to meet the coaches on March 14 at 6:00 in our cafeteria ...

  • 02/15/2017 Good morning.  I thought I’d share a picture of something we can all look forward to.  It should give us all hope despite tonight’s forecast….There, doesn’t that just make you feel a little bit better today?Congratulations to our Boys B Basketball team for winning their post-season tournament here at GMS by defeating Winnisquam.  Tyler Talbot led the team with 21 points while Austin Normandin was hustling all over the court both offensively and defensively.  The entire team put in a solid effort in the win.Congratulations also to Harry LaFlamme for earning Honorable Mention at the state level of the PTA Reflections program.  Harry earned his honor in the photography category.I have attached ...
