Homework Group Expectations


Homework Group is designed to provide academic support to those students who may need assistance with homework completion. It is also a quiet place for reading, studying, or reviewing classroom material. Support is provided by a classroom teacher. Attendance will be taken. 

Homework Group meets Monday through Friday from 2:30-3:30 PM in the library.

Students should be picked up from school no later than 3:30 PM, but may leave when their work is completed or when picked up by their parent/guardian.

As an after-school activity, students must abide by the same school rules followed during the regular academic day.

Students should work quietly, without disturbing other students.

No cellphones are allowed; students may use the library or office phone if needed.

Students may not eat their snack in the library, but may do so in the hall outside of the library.

Students who are not doing school work, or who do not follow these guidelines will be asked to leave and will be reported to the administration.
